10. For the avoidance of doubt, you are solely responsible for any dog in your control whilst attending Swim Dog, regardless of whether you are the legal owner of that dog.
11. You are responsible for the welfare of your dog. We will not tolerate any abuse or mistreatment of any dog at Swim Dog. If we have any concerns about the welfare and treatment of your dog, we reserve the right to make any reports to the necessary authorities.
12. Dogs must be accompanied by owners at all times at Swim Dog. Your dog will not be allowed to swim without adequate supervision. For the avoidance of doubt, remaining in your vehicle or visiting other patrons on-site is not adequate supervision. We provide suitable undercover and outdoor seating areas inside our enclosed paddock to ensure you are adequately accompanying your dog at all times during your booked session.
13. Your 30 minute session includes time taken entering and exiting the pool area. You and your dog must exit the pool swiftly at the end of your session to allow for access to the pool for the next scheduled booking. If you are entering the pool, you shall arrive dressed appropriately to allow you to enter the pool swiftly.
14. A 1 minute swim equates to a 1 mile walk for your dog. Therefore they will not be encouraged to swim for more than 20 minutes. Regular short breaks will be encouraged throughout the session.
15. Dogs must not be pushed or thrown into the pool. Anyone doing so will be asked to leave without a refund.
16. Any dog booked into a group session showing signs of aggression to others will be asked to leave without a refund.
17. If your dog has an accident in the pool, the session may have to be stopped or cancelled whilst we thoroughly clean the pool. No refunds will be given for loss of pool time.
18. If you choose to enter the pool with your dog, you do so at your own risk and at the discretion of the session leader.
19. Children are welcome to enter the pool if joined and supervised by an adult (1 adult to 1 child), but must be comfortable in the water. Our pool water is 4ft deep. You should provide any floatation aids your child requires.
20. You agree to leave Swim Dog in the same state it was in when you arrived. You are responsible for ensuring that your dog's waste is disposed of appropriately.
21. We use our best endeavours to ensure that Swim Dog is a safe facility for both you and your dog. However, by nature of the enviornment the paddock area may be muddy and slippery when it is wet and there may be standing water. You must exercise caution and common sense when using Swim Dog.
